When I woke up, I could even feel wet in my heart.
Suddenly I did't want to go to work.
In those days, I lived alone. sometimes felt lonely but I was ok, worked hard and adjusted myself by solving knotty problems one by one. However the rain let me lose my composure. no wonder it was my first experience of monsoon.
I remembered Gandhi Ji somehow, I believed he can help me keeping my balance. There's one suitable place.
So I gave up to go work, and headed to Gandhi Smriti instead.
Gandhi Smriti, former Birla hosue, was a memorial museum of Gandhi Ji now. We can follow his last footprints in there.
Agra - Mathura - Noida - Varanasi
Hanuman was there, cow was there.
Monsoon was there.
God was there, people was there.
My job was there, my home was there.
Everything was there.
Even my youth, my immature and my passion was there.
It was noida where I was before.
I leaved all in there. And I'll always feel at home.
Rishikesh - Haridwar -
Rishikesh is known as a city of yoga, the yoga capital of the world. Beatles visited there, hippies too.
Now I know the city is distorted by them.
Yes, there's still many yoga trainees and travellers.
But truth is... it's more look like a city of the donkeys, monkeys, prayers and gods.
I strolled esplanade, and I could meet them everywhere.
Yoga is just a part of them, partial aspect as it's originally the purpose of asceticism and cure.
One day I went there all of sudden.
But it's not suitable to use a word 'sudden' in india. I started at six o'clock in the morning. So it was 'planned sudden' even though I planned the trip last night.
My sudden destnation was Haridwar. Haridwar, the upper region of Ganga, is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus. Hari means 'Lord Vishnu'. So it's spritual, religious place. I'm not Hindus, but I wanted to see clean river as I always see polluted downstream. During eight solid hours driving from delhi, I could change my destination at any moment. There's many places I didn't visit yet and moreover my hip was buring all the time to Haridwar. I mean mine was 2WD off road.
But I managed it. Arrived there as my planned sudden, saw the clean Ganga, took a walk, and took some pictures.
